Foundation

Good Morning!

As you have seen with my previous posts, I worked with layers, and then with chalk. Today's post combines the two. Cardmaking is all about a foundation. Decide which techniques you want to work with and see if you can combine them. Just remember that less is more. I got the idea for this card from the CTMH card confidence program. It's really very simple, just choose a Designer Paper and a coordinating cardstock color. The DSP is measured at 4 1/4 x 2 1/2. The colored cardstock is measured at 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 and then the top white piece is measured at 2x2. Then all the layers are attached to a plain white piece of cardstock measuring standard size which is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 when folded. I stamped "Happy Birthday" in versamark 3 times and colored in 3 different colors. It's a little hard to see in the picture, but it's very faint in real life too sorry about that..

So there ya have it. Combining the two techniques you've learned so far to make one new beautiful card.

Hope you enjoy! I'll see ya tomorrow!
