Organization

I've been wanting to get one of these things forever.... I still don't have one, but I'm on the look out at thrift stores... Everytime I saw it at my friend's house I thought "What can I do with that to make it crafty" Well, Patter already beat me to it. Check out her post here. If you're anything like me, you are now looking at everything in your home thinking "How can I make it crafty?"

If you have anything that you've made crafty, be sure to send me a picture or a link. I'd love to see how crafty y'all are. :)

Sadly I have no new creations...

We had planned to go see my mom last weekend, but my hubby threw out his back on Thursday and we spent the weekend at home. My back was sore on Friday so I guess it was all for the best. That being said, we ARE going to my mom's this weekend, so everything is still packed. (It took me almost 4 hours to pack it all up, I'm not going to unpack it until I get to her house ;))

Anyway, I did promise that I'd be back with new fun things to share... and I do. I was blurfing this weekend and found a new pretty blog to stalk. You can view it here. It's called "Who is Tracy?" Some of you may have heard of her, but I just found her and I absolutely love her blog! She makes CAS cards and I want to CASE them so bad, and so did my mom when she saw them. So don't be surprised if you see a few borrowed images in the coming weeks. :)

That's it for today. I'll be back tomorrow with some more fun things to share. Have a great night!

Frappacino anyone?

I've been wanting to make one of these FOREVER... but never actually had the bottles to make them. I hate coffee, can't stand the stuff, not even the Frappacinos. A friend of mine was drinking one and I asked for his bottle when he was done with it. You should have seen the look on his face when I told him if he didn't give it to me I would just go "dumpster dive" for it later. LOL. It was priceless! Anyway, it was our long running joke for quite some time and he brought me several bottles. He even brought me 2 containers to put them in. I searched hi and low for "recesses pieces" to fill the jar with and couldn't find them. They are sold out EVERYWHERE. I settled on caramel flavored candy corn. It actually tastes quite good. Isn't it cute? Don'tcha love it? I will be making more of these, but for Christmas. I will not miss out on the Red & Green M&M's though.. :)

I'm going out of town this weekend to visit my mom. I'm basically taking my whole craft room with me, so this will be my last post until next week. We're making a BUNCH of Christmas cards for her church, and I still have to design them. Ugh.... but I will come home with some awesome cards to share I'm sure. :)

Hope you have a great week! Don't forget to check out Sherri's blog for some awesome blog candy... and Sherri if you're reading this and I win *wink wink* you know where to mail it :) Happy Week everyone!

So you know my friend Sherri who I talk about often? Well she's giving away some awesome blog candy. Be sure to enter to win her awesome SOLD OUT stamp set. You can see her blog here.

Happy Stamping!

Crystal Light

Howdy Folks! Today's post is a picture of a Crystal Light container I repurposed. It's a lot harder than it looks actually. It took forever for me to get the paper to line up evenly. AND my glue dots aren't sticking. I've had to re-glue them 3 times now... so when I make these to give away I will be using something a little stronger than glue dots. Has anyone else had a problem with "Zots" that's the name brand of glue dots I'm using. I cased the idea from someone at SCS. I'm sorry I can't remember, I just did a search on CL containers and it came up with 2 pages. Hope you enjoy!

Guess who got her groove back?!

Nope, not Stella :)

Me! I've been in such a funk lately. I couldn't get inspired by ANYTHING.... I did several blog hops, I stalked SCS, I went to all the craft fairs that were local, I looked and looked at endless catalogs, and nothing would come to me. I decided that today, no matter what I was making something and posting it. I decided to check out Michelle's blog. I hadn't been there in awhile, so I got caught up, and lo and behold! It hit me! A Kimono card!!! These are so much fun to make, they are SUPER easy, just follow her step by step tutorial found
here. I made this one for my step-dad's birthday. It was last week, but we are going to see him next weekend so I figured I would just hand it to him. I've also got a couple more fun things to show you, but I'll save them so I can get back to my daily postings. Woohoo!!

I'm still here

I'm just in a slump. Nothing I create lately looks good to me, so I end up trashing it. I've also had family coming in the last couple of weeks, and planning trips out of town during the weekends to see other family. Needless to say it's been a little crazy 'round here, and I haven't gotten much quality stamping done. I hope to be back soon with something awesome to share!

I'm going to Apple Fest tomorrow (Huge craft fair). I'm hoping that inspiration jumps up at me and slaps me in the face. :) Wish me luck!
